A Haiku.
Anticipation.
Much to do, but little time.
Jan 1 is the end.
thank goodness! :)
I kind of wish I had a “second” mom. Not that my first mom is bad, but it’s fun to be close to another friend’s family too.

Today is the 29th anniversary of John Lennon’s death.
I know I’m a day late but I love you to pieces. RIP. You’ve influenced everyone’s lives in ways you’ll never know.
Potterhead revealed via text!
Me: So, any plans for the weekend?
Angie: Work and homework, haha. You?
Me: I don't have any homework, yay. But for me its college essays and a 3-day Harry Potter marathon on ABC Family HAHA. I'm so obsessed.
Angie: Omg. College apps for me too. I didn't know you like Harry Potter.
Me: Really? I'm amazed! It's probably #1 on my list of obsessions. :D
Angie: Haha, people are full of surprises.
Question of the Day.
Do you have self-confidence if you accept yourself but don’t feel great about how others perceive you?
Thoughts bubbling to the surface.
This year, I learned that I’m not alone. There are other people that feel the same way as I. There are other people that I get along well with. There are other people that will help me move on from the past….
Last year, pressure built up from everything, pretty much. But the problem is, it could always, ALWAYS, be worse. So the drama that used to be a big deal before, isn’t so...
Things I Love.
Looking for inspiration, so I decided to make a list.
1. Blankets.
2. Learning a new craft. Most recent- knitting!
3. Weird but true stories.
4. Getting curly hair after a shower. Very rare.
5. Reading Time Magazine. Especially Joel Stein's column.
6. Browsing through Lookbook.
7. When Harry Potter movies play on T.V.
8. Picking out the perfect dress.
9. Making lists.
10. Getting my eyebrows done.
11. Going to festivals.
12. Carousels.
13. Bookstores, like Barnes and Noble. I loved being around books as a Library TA.
14. Dressing up as a character to school, and then receiving compliments from people. Haha! I love how people enjoy my weirdness.
15. Acting in front of my family.
16. When people call me quirky.
17. When I receive a gift or recommendation from someone, and they say "I thought of you when I saw this! It reminded me of you."
18. Cutting out salvagable graphics from junk mail and using it to make cards.
19. Singing Christmas carols (but only if it's in season!)
20. Saying hi or giving hugs to friends in the hallways, and them being surprised but pleased.
That's all for now! I'll continue this list later.
Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time...
– Oscar Wilde, one of my favorite authors.
I hope colleges don’t see me as typical. I really do. My essays aren’t great right now, but I can only pray they see the personality within when they read them.
